Heirloom Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Heirloom is a new boutique catering & event design company based in Falls Church, Virginia. We wanted the logo to showcase the vintage and old-fashioned aspect of the name, Heirloom, while also displaying a company that is modern, chic and upscale. We choose 2 modern and elegant fonts that present a timeless and stylish look for the brand and complement each other well. The design in the background gives the logo its vintage and rustic quality. We brought it all together by setting it in a circular, stamp-like design, which gives it a unique and compact look that will allow the logo to be used anywhere.

Northern Valley Careers Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Northern Valley Careers focuses on educating youth on career opportunities in the region, helping to retain valuable leaders and workers in the area by giving them information and resources. The logo we designed is clean, professional, modern and approachable for the two audiences that the organization targets: high school students in the area as well as local businesses and organizations. It has a youthful look with bright colors, and mostly sans serif fonts. It includes a unique symbol that they can use on its own that combines NVC together, using the white space to create the “v”.

The Unbeetable Experience Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

The Unbeetable Experience helps hire workers for the sugar beet harvest in Minnesota and North Dakota. We created a fun and energetic logo that echoes the experience that workers will see during harvest, which includes a lot of hard work but a lot of fun as well! We chose 2 different handwritten fonts that pair together nicely, as well as some bright and earthy colors that continue their message about fun and high energy. The B in Unbeetable is a sugar beet, and the U is a shovel, adding a lot to the visual impact of the logo.

Nilson’s Nook Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Nilson’s Nook is a sweet Etsy shop with adorable handmade items for babies, kids and adults. We wanted the brand to be whimsical and cute with a vintage vibe. We chose a color palette that evoked a fun and child-like style but still kept a beautiful and vintage vibe in mind. Different pinks and greens were paired to achieve this look. We also used fonts that were whimsical and unique to contrast one another and add to the beautiful style. There are tons of details and adornments that we added in the logo that bring more whimsy to the logo, and also add to the handcrafted feel including the detailed flower symbol at the top, the sewing stitch line at the bottom and the other loops and adornments on the sides. Everything together completes the fun style and gives Nilsen’s Nook the look they were after.

Oobee Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Oobee wanted the main symbol to have a smartphone icon look, because it would be used as the icon for their smartphone app. So we used a rounded square shape that is an echo of the Oobee “o”. Since the company provides geolocation services we also wanted to include a map pinpoint in the icon – and we integrated a lock in the map pinpoint to tie in the security aspect of their services as well. The blue used in the logo is the GeoComply light blue, and we chose a very modern and techy font for the text. The overall look falls in step with the company’s new flat design style, creating a logo that is modern, slick and professional.

Wellthily Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Wellthily is a health and wellness company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their mission is to change the meaning of wealth by inspiring people to lead happier and healthier lifestyles. We combined 3 different fonts that are modern, a bit feminine and very unique. The name Wellthily combines “well” and “healthy” and we wanted the word “well” to stand out with it’s own font and color. The next part of the name, “thily” complements the first part of the name and adds a lot to the character of the design. The bright green leaf symbolizes everything that Wellthily stands for, youth, growth, sustainability, and health. The stamp around the logo also brings a lot of character and adds a great all-inclusive touch to bring it all together.

SealYourRecords Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

We wanted the brand to be stylish and sleek, as well as functional and easy to understand, communicating a company that is diligent, helpful and professional. For the color palette we chose a bright orange and warm grey for the main colors of the logo, and incorporated a soft blue-grey and other shades of each of those colors in the other elements we designed. The main font in the logo has slight serifs and a unique look that will appeal to many different types of people. The sans serif tagline font is clean and straightforward and worked well as the primary font that we used throughout the website. Overall, the logo communicates the values that SealYourRecords stands for and allowed us to expand the brand with the other materials we worked on, creating a look that is clean and corporate, but approachable and reassuring for their clientele.

Schiffman Mediation Logo

Logos by Shannon Noack on June 12, 2015

Schiffman Mediation provides services in divorce, custody, conflict coaching, and workplace mediation. We wanted the company to appear credible and professional but allow people to feel comfortable coming in to speak freely with Sarah, their mediator. We chose a nice sans serif font with bold and light styles paired together to give a youthful and modern look. The bright orange color choice works well because it easily communicates energy and friendship, telling people they can feel at ease speaking to Sarah. The speech bubbles used in the icon complete the look, giving us a nice personality for the brand and show the two-way communication that goes on with their mediation services.

Ted’s 355

Logos by Shannon Noack on February 7, 2013

This new restaurant in Maryland needed a fun diner-inspired logo that had a modern appeal. We chose some fun fonts that added a lot of character to the design and paired it with a very modern font and a hand-drawn skyline to give it a really unique look. This style will be applied to all of their other materials and the look of their space to give it a fun and modern vibe.

Briarwood Baptist Church

This vibrant church in Cordova, Tennessee needed a new brand for their church that was modern in feel and comfortable to their attendees. We combined 2 modern typefaces with a hand-drawn symbol to create a style that perfectly fit their needs. The color palette of warm browns mixed with a bright green gives a fun and friendly look to complete their style.
