Delia’s Catering Print Materials

Delia’s, a restaurant in Virginia needed business cards for their new catering division. We used pieces of their website design to create these fun and vibrant cards. The colors are rich and striking, and we paired those with great textures and a picture of an olive tree painting in their restaurant. They also needed new brochures to market and advertise their catering company, so we created a series of 3 different brochures. They all have the same information on the back, and a different image on the front. Their striking photography really makes their food and quality of service stand out.

This fun new restaurant in Arlington, Virginia needed business cards and a printed to-go menu for their customers. We used elements from their website for the business card, utilizing the many textures and layers to create a unique look. For the to-go menu, we wanted to keep it simple so it was easy to read and understand. The design is mostly minimal, and we made sure it was laid out in a very organized manner. We also included hand-drawn images of their different food choices, giving a nice visual of each choice.

College & Career Preparation 101 Marketing Materials

The University of Minnesota, Crookston teamed up with other local groups & organizations to start an educational program for high school students, that would educate them and get them ready for college. They needed some marketing materials for the program to inform students and their parents about upcoming events and the program itself. We created a style for these pieces that had a collegiate look and feel, with a bold color palette that fell in step with the university’s colors, and blocky, bold typography. We created a flyer, postcard, desktop calendar and stand-up tradeshow display, incorporating the style across all pieces.

Pioneer 90.1 is a college radio station, with Northland Community & Technical College in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls, MN. They wanted the site to reflect the music they play, which is mostly Adult Alternative, but it had to work for many different types of music because their programming is diverse. Being a college station, we also wanted to add a youthful aspect to the site so it appealed to their mostly young audience. We used some great textures to give the site a fun look including a speaker texture in the header area. We added some other fun elements like the large on-air sign that features the song that’s being played currently so you can tune in if you like what’s on. The site is rich with tons of great features that make it very user-friendly and relevant for users.
