Pioneer 90.1 is the college radio station for Northland Community & Technical College in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls, Minnesota. They needed a new logo for the station that was clean, professional, and represented the college well. It also needed to work well for their music style, which includes a variety of different types of music. We used the circular "N" symbol from Northland's logo, and kept the same color scheme as the college itself, to keep the connection between the college and the station strong. We used a modern sans serif typeface that gives the logo a strong and professional look. We also added some radio waves above the logo to show the nature of what they do. Overall, the logo is strong and will work well in many applications.
A blog that discusses Search Engine Optimization, marketing methods, and social media among other things, Stay On Search needed a professional logo that matched their high quality posts. The type is clean and modern with an asymmetrical layout. The arrow above the "a" symbolizes the arrow on a compass and represents the blog directing users and helping them find what they are looking for.
This new blog wanted a clean and streamlined look to target a professional audience. The typeface we chose is classic and clean along with the symbol which is simple, recognizable and powerful. Together they create a classy logo for this great new blog.
This company provides inspiration, resources and support for girls ages 18-25. The owner wanted the logo to be whimsical and youthful, but also serious and clean to show that they talk about all sorts of issues with these young women. The logo itself also needed to be very feminine. We chose a fun script typeface paired with a more serious sans serif typeface. We also used fun colors, a playful arrow, and a whimsical double dotted line that all add character to the logo and create a great look.
This fabrication company creates custom metal artwork, and needed a logo that communicates their fun vibe and custom products. The font is grungy and looked like metal so we thought it was a perfect choice. We also used different sized letters in a fun layout that plays up the custom attribute of their products.
The Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals needed a logo for a new award they were going to establish in the Grand Forks area. The award will be given to a local company that works hard to provide a great working environment for young professionals and promotes creativity, leadership, and growth among their employees. The logo itself needed to showcase the idea of growth and professionalism. We created a symbol for the logo out of the first letters of the first two words, Grow Grand. The small g is being nurtured and supported by the bigger g, showing the company's commitment to growth and fostering a great working environment for young professionals in Grand Forks. The fonts and layout create a clean and professional look, giving the YP's a logo that they can use year after year.
This new event is presented by Stop Traffick Fashion and will benefit survivors of modern slavery. We wanted the look to be a bit edgy and representative of the urban setting and the target audience that would attend. Artists and musicians will be present at the event to show their art and play their music, so we needed an artistic vibe as well. We chose bright colors and a fun and edgy font that helped to convey these characteristics. We also wanted to tie the logo to Stop Traffic Fashion, the presenting company. So we used 3 arrows pointing upward and colored them similar to a stoplight, which is present in STF's logo. Overall the logo is youthful, modern and fun and will work well for this great new event.
This green symbol was to be used to show PremierGarage's green products and services. It was going to be used on top of photos in their new ad campaign and needed to be simple and easy to read at a very small size.
A non-profit company in Washington that provides a fun and safe learning environment for children. They wanted something that was bright and fun for the children but professional and classic for investors and parents. Bright colors and a curvy gradient were utilized to add some punch to the symbol.
This new church wanted to make a big impact in their new city. Their logo needed to showcase their bold ideas, coming across in a big way! The large, heavy typeface mixed with the small light font makes for a unique look that certainly accomplishes the bold look they were going for.

This soft and feminine logo was created for a new program for nurses at Scottsdale Healthcare, a chain of hospitals in the Scottsdale area. The program awards nurses for doing a superior job and would be used on letterhead, awards and other branding items but mostly importantly, it was going to be used as a pin that a nurse could wear as an award for a job well done.
This non-profit company raises money and awareness for a myriad of issues including domestic violence, trafficking, economic inequality and more. They needed a logo that would work well on all their new branding items, a website to raise awareness and gain investors, and other materials. It needed to be punchy and eye-catching, telling the story of the company and helping them bring light to the issues they are so passionate about.
This logo was created for Centex Homes, in order to help sell the homes in their new community in a suburb of Phoenix. They wanted customers to feel comfortable with their decision to purchase a home from Centex. They needed their consumers to feel worryfree; people worry about the structure, the cost, the materials used in construction. Centex made a worryfree checklist to go with the logo that was posted in the sales areas for home buyers to see and compare against other homes in the area.
This new church needed a logo that worked well on all their branding materials and their new website. The wanted a bold and clean logo that would work well on grungy and rugged backgrounds. Located in San Antonio, TX, we went with a style that fit their targeted audience and regional area.
This family-run coffee company sells quality farm-grown coffee beans and wanted a rustic, homemade feel. We chose a font that is reminiscent of scrapbooking with some imperfect edges and a small cut out of the "i." The 2 e's are rotated a bit from the rest of the word to look like coffee beans in a pile. Overall, the look is friendly and warm, and communicates their strong family values and quality products.
Tracy, a public relations guru, needed a personal logo that she could use to market her services. She would use the mark on her resume to give it a custom look, her website with examples of her work, and her business card. The overall look needed to be sharp and professional for the workplace, but yet young and fresh to show her youth. The simple and bold icon uses her initials and can be used on its own like a stamp. The typeface we chose is clean and minimal, but has a fun and youthful flair.
This new photography studio in Colorado is run by an energetic young woman that wanted a bright and happy logo that communicated her sunny personality. A charismatic and playful font was a great choice for this company, and is grounded by a more classic-looking sans serif font for "photography." A few whimsical sun strokes were added to give it more character and complete the bright and sunny look.
